Are you sure about that? BTW. If shield hero can't use weapons, but can use pickaxe, bottles and stuff like that, why he is not using Molotov cocktails and shovel?

Naofumi only use his shield to defend, but goblin slayer use his shield as weapon, even the priestess used protection as a "weapon" against goblin lord, and if its now enough, bartolomeo (from One Piece) has only shield ability but use it as a weapon too

He was summoned and like each hero he got one item but cuz of the curse or something like a curse he cant use any other weapon.
